There are currently four series of Official Ty Beanie Baby Collectors cards. None of the
series are still in
production. Maybe Ty will release Series V for us someday!
Series I was introduced in October of 1998 and sold out in a mere three months! Series
II came out in March
of 1999, Series III showed up in July of 1999, and finally Series IV appeared on the market in 2000!
15 Platinum cards along with 20 different coins were to be found in the BBOC Platinum
Clubby kit!
At least two other companies not affiliated with Ty made collectors cards!
